Possible bear spray incident at a Hamilton Tim Hortons

A  Hamilton Tim Hortons is undergoing decontamination after what appears to have been a bear spray incident. 

It happened shortly after noon today, at a Barton Street East Tim Hortons. 

Hamilton police say two younger males, aged between 15 and 25, walked inside the location and sprayed an unknown substance in the air. 

7 people were affected and taken to hospital for medical attention. 

Police say the victim's symptoms were consistent to a reaction from bear spray.

The suspects were last seen running southbound from the area.

Police are reviewing video footage.

The investigation is ongoing.
