Protesters to return to US consulate today
Demonstrators are expected to return to the US consulate in Toronto today to protest President Donald Trump's executive order on immigration.
Organizers have created a list of demands that include the official condemnation of Trump's immigration policy, and the ending of indefinite immigration detention in Canada.
US officials have issued a security message to Americans in Toronto telling them to avoid areas of demonstrations because even gatherings intended to be peaceful can escalate into violence.
Toronto police and the RCMP will be at the protest to monitor the situation.
