Province to make local announcement but no questions allowed
A pair of announcements in Niagara today.
The federal government has scheduled what it calls an important infrastructure event in St. Catharines today.
MP Chris Bittle will make the announcement on behalf of the federal Infrastructure Minister François-Philippe Champagne, alongside his Ontario counterpart Monte McNaughton and Mayor Walter Sendzik this morning at 8:00 at the St. Catharines Transit terminal on First Street Louth.
Afterwards McNaughton will join Deputy Premier and Minister of Health and Long Term Care Christine Elliott for another announcement at Hotel Dieu Shaver at 9:30 a.m.
No word on what that might entailn but journalists have been told this is a 'photo op only' and there will no time for individual questions.
