Public can weigh in on plan to allow motor boats on Welland Recreational Waterway
The first public meeting on a controversial plan to allow motorized craft to operate on the Welland Recreational Waterway is set for this weekend.
The city is considering changing its Go Quiet bylaw to allow motor boats on the waterway.
Residents can weigh in on the plan this Saturday starting at 1 pm at the Welland Community Wellness Complex.
Two other meetings are also scheduled at the Complex on the 16th and 28th beginning at 7 pm.
