Public celebration of life planned for Niagara advocate
The community is invited to come together and celebrate a tireless advocate from Niagara.
Deb Nanson passed away at the beginning of this month at the age of 59 following a battle with cancer.
She was known for her work with people stuck in the cycle of poverty and addiction.
She also served as a voice for people working in the sex trade after she broke free from that life.
A public celebration of Deb will be held at The Gate Alliance Church in Niagara Falls on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
Donations of non-perishable food or grocery gift cards will be gratefully accepted.
