Public memorial for victim of alleged drunk driving crash this weekend
A memorial will be held this weekend in Niagara Falls in honour of a young woman killed in an impaired driving crash a week ago today.
23 year old Jessica Edwards was in a vehicle that was struck by an alleged drunk driver at the corner of Taylor and Mountain Roads.
Family and friends have been invited to gather at Firemen's Park Sunday evening at 7:00 for a memorial service.
Flowers and candles will be available for sale, and all money raised will help Jessica's family pay for funeral costs
Organizors say they hope the memorial also helps raise awareness about the tragic consequences of drinking and driving.
32 year old Kimberly Servos of Thorold is facing impaired driving charges.
