Rainfall warning and freezing rain warning for Niagara
Environment Canada is extending a freezing rain warning this morning for north and south Niagara.
These areas include Niagara Falls, Welland, St. Catharines, and Grimsby. Adding on warnings of power outages in these areas.
Occasional ice pellets and freezing rain set to continue Sunday morning, chaning to a rainall warning in the afternoon.
Amounts likely in the 20 to 25 mm range.
Officials asking to clear drainage basins of ice buildup to assist in more effective water flow.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Keep children and pets away from creeks and river banks.
