Renovations at Russell Avenue Community Centre means temporary closure

The Russell Avenue Community Centre in St. Cathariunes will temporarily close while the City freshens up the facility with a new coat of paint.

The renovations begin Wednesday, Dec. 6 and includes some minor wall repairs and the painting of the front foyer, lobby, main-floor assembly room and the second-floor meeting room.
The Russell Avenue Community Centre is scheduled to reopen Saturday, Dec. 23.

The closure is set for after the fall session of the City registered leisure programs concludes.

However, the City’s drop-in programs at Russell Avenue Community Centre, such as table tennis and euchre, and other community rentals scheduled to take place during the renovations will be relocated to other City community centres.
