Seven new doctors in Niagara
Niagara's Physician Recruiter says they continue to chip away at the doctor shortage in Niagara.
There are seven new family doctors in Niagara right now accepting patients, four in the falls, two in St. Catharines and one in Grimsby.
But Jill Croteau says we are still short about 68 physicians.
Croteau noting part of the problem is the number of doctors in Niagara at or nearing retirement, an issue that is also affecting communities across Ontario.
