Severe thunderstorm watch for Niagara
This summer-like day won't last too much longer.
Environment Canada's Peter Kimbell tells CKTB clouds, showers and possible severe thunderstorms will be moving into the Niagara this afternoon.
He thinks the storm will hit Niagara at around 5 o'clock today.
He says a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Niagara and the surrounding area.
He says thunderstorms with gusty winds of 80-90 kilometres are possible during the storm.
Temperatures will drop following the stormy weather, with an approaching cold front.
The is a high of around 17 tomorrow.
Today it reached 28 degrees in St.Catharines.
