Should OHL players get paid?
The provincial government says it is standing behind the Ontario Hockey League in their fight to not pay their players.
Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Michael Tibollo says he supports the league and will have more to say soon.
The league is in a legal battle with former players who are part of a nationwide class-action lawsuit seeking backpay and for its players, usually aged 16 to 20, to be paid minimum wage.
OHL president David Branch says paying players minimum wage would bankrupt several teams.
