Six-storey condo development a go near Port Dalhousie
A six-storey condo development is a go for a St.Catharines neighbourhood near Port Dalhousie.
Grantham Ward councillor Bill Phillips says he voted against the development at the corner of Lakeport and Avalon.
He says it's another situation of shoehorning a big project into a small lot, saying it's too small a property.
Phillips is hoping the developers will take local residents' wishes into account, and go with a three-storey development instead.
He says resident's have been paying taxes in that area for thirty plus years, and it's not fair to them.
His concerns include traffic flow and parking.
