Snowbirds return to Niagara next week
The Snowbirds will be coming to Niagara next week.
The Canadian Forces team will be performing Wednesday, September 11th at the Niagara District Airport in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Mona Babin with the Niagara Historical Society says the Snowbirds do 30 events throughout the year in North America, and she's been working on bringing them back to Niagara since last April.
Gates open at 2pm and the show gets underway at 4.
The Snowbirds' official purpose is to "demonstrate the skill, professionalism, and teamwork of Canadian Forces personnel".
They are the first Canadian air demonstration team to be designated as a squadron.
