Pretty well all of Southern Ontario, including Niagara, is under a special weather statement heading into the weekend.
The weather office warning there is the potential for ice storms starting tomorrow into Sunday.
Heavy rain could also fall late Sunday before tapering off Monday.
Environment Canada says there remains considerable uncertainty at this point as to how much freezing rain we may get tomorrow, before it changes over to rain.
But the agency says it's possible some locales could see amounts in excess of 20 mm.
It also warns flooding may become a threat in some areas later Sunday or Sunday night.
