St. Catharines council to decide vacancy left at Regional Council
Now that Jim Bradley has become Chair of the Niagara Region there is a vacant seat for St. Catharines.
The decision on what to do about the vacant seat now falls back to St. Catharines City Council for a recommendation.
Kelly Edgar who came in seventh in the October election telling CKTB he was contacted by the city's clerk yesterday to see if he was willing to fill the vacancy.
Edgar says he's ready to step in.
Council is expected to make a decision on the matter at their next council meeting set for Monday December 10th.
