St. Catharines driver flown to hospital in critical condition

A driver was flown to hospital in critical condition after a crash in St. Catharines.

Around 3 a.m. yesterday morning, emergency crews responded to a call about a single vehicle collision on Glenridge near Wynchwood.

Investigators believe a 2008 Cadillac was being driven southbound when the 26 year old driver lost control of his vehicle, left the road, and hit a large tree in front of a home.

He was initially taken to a local hospital before being transferred to an out of region hospital for treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
