St. Catharines man dies in Hamilton crash
A 27 year old St. Catharines man has been identified as the victim of a single vehicle crash in Hamilton, the first fatal collision of the New Year in the Steel City.
Police say the man was behind the wheel of a car that hit a pole on Queenston Road early yesterday morning.
A 25 year old passenger from Hamilton received minor injuries
Police say speed and alcohol contributed to the crash.
