St. Catharines man killed in workplace accident remembered as loving father, brilliant mind
A St. Catharines man has been identified as the victim of a fatal workplace accident at Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto.
Emergency services were called to the airport last Tuesday morning after reports that a construction worker had fallen from a roof.
Friends and family of 60 year old Dean Maguire are mourning the loss of an incredible mind and fantastic friend.
A funeral will be held tomorrow at the George Darte Funeral Home. In the meantime, a trust fund has been set up for his two daughters at the Fourth Ave branch of Meridian Credit Union.
Maguire was working on a PCL Constructors Canada site - company officials say they are fully cooperating with the Ministry of Labour investigation.
