St. Catharines pair facing theft charges following incident at Pen Centre

A pair of St. Catharines residents are facing charges after a theft of some electronics at the Shoppers Drug Mart in the Pen Centre.

Last Thursday, a male and female entered the store with a blue metal pull cart.

NRP say the male obtained four laptop computers valued at $1800 as well as an Xbox One gaming system worth $380 dollars.

With the female suspect acting as a look out for loss prevention officers, the pair passed by all cashiers failing to pay for the items placed in the pull cart.

Following an investigation and review of surveillance footage the pair were identified.

Police searched a residence and located the electronic items.

Warren and Sonia Curtis are now charged with theft under $5000.
