St. Catharines tells PAC and Transit Commission to keep spending in line
It's going to be a tough go for agencies looking for more money from the city of St. Catharines.
The city's budget committee telling both the Performing Arts Centre and the Transit Commission to go back to the drawing board and find ways to cut their budgets.
Performing Arts Centre executive director Steve Solski presented a budget yesterday that includes a 20 percent increase, down from the 32 percent spending hike presented to the committee in December.
Meantime, St Catharines Transit was told to find more cuts after asking for a 7.5 percent increase.
