Stolen Vehicle and Stolen Property recovered after Arrests made in Lincoln
Two 18 year old Hamilton men are facing charges after a stolen pick-up truck in Lincoln lead police to the suspects.
Saturdays Grimsby officers responded to the area of Nesbitt Street and Cherrywood Drive in the Town of Lincoln after calls of two suspicious males attempteming to enter vehicles.
Officers found an unoccupied stolen Chevrolet pick-up truck parked with multiple pieces of identification and personal items not in the registered owner's name were located inside the truck.
A K9 unit and uniform officers canvassed the area and eventually the two male suspects were located and arrested.
Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen recently from another Beamsville location.
The investigation into the presence of the identification and personal items remains ongoing as police attempt to identify victims.
Police suspect that there are numerous victims within the neighbourhood.
18 year old Austin Tupper and 18 year old Michael Allen were both arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
