NOTL Fire Chief elected to executive at OAFC

Niagara-on-the-Lake Fire Chief Rob Grimwood has been elected to the 2019 Executive Committee of the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs (OAFC) as a Vice President.

He has been an OAFC zone representative for Niagara, Hamilton, Haldimand, Norfolk, Brant, and Brantford for almost 10 years.

Chief Grimwood has been with the Town since February, 2017 in the position of Fire Chief and Community Emergency Management Coordinator.

The Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs represents the chief fire officers of the 448 municipal fire departments in the Province of Ontario.

These chief officers are ultimately responsible, by statute, for the management and delivery of fire, rescue and emergency response to the 13 million residents of Ontario.
