Support rally at Catholic School Board office attracts 50 people
About 50 people showed up for a public rally at the Niagara Catholic School board office today.
A group calling themselves "We Love Niagara Teachers" organized the rally oustide the boards office on Rice Road in support of locked out teachers.
John Maney whose daughter is a teacher says he can't understand why the board is refusing the union's offer of binding arbitration.
He says if the board was truly putting children first, they'd accept the offer and end the lockout.
Friday marks day 5 of the lockout.
Larry, Tom McConnell, Betty Lou Souter, and the gang announce this year's totals and hand out a big thank you.
Larry talks with the St. Catharines Standard reporter who broke this story.
