There's a new tick in town
It doesn't carry Lyme disease, but researchers at the University of Guelph are warning a dangerous new tick species is at risk of spreading across Canada.
The researchers predict the spread of the dog tick will continue across the country due to climate change.
Its already been found in parts of Southern Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
The dog tick does carry diseases which can cause serious health problems as well.
