Thorold considering brewfing ban

Have an urge to quaff a beer on your roof?

If you live in Thorold you may want to think twice.

Thorold is the second Niagara municipality to consider a brewfing ban.

City councillors agreeing last night to ask staff to draw up a bylaw banning the practise.

Monday night St. Catharines councillors approved a similiar move.

The idea of a brewfing ban began in London after residents complained of university and college students partying on residential rooftops with beers in hand.
