Thorold is the second Niagara municipality to consider a brewfing ban.
City councillors agreeing last night to ask staff to draw up a bylaw banning the practise.
Monday night St. Catharines councillors approved a similiar move.
The idea of a brewfing ban began in London after residents complained of university and college students partying on residential rooftops with beers in hand.
