Tim Hortons tests delivery, plans expansion into China

If you're craving a double-double or a chocolate glazed doughnut but don't want to leave the house, a new solution could be on the way.

Tim Hortons has teamed up with food delivery company Skip The Dishes to test delivery in three Canadian cities: Vancouver, Ottawa, and Edmonton.

The president of Tim Hortons Alex Macedo says, "I think we came in with a mindset that we have to listen to our guests and adapt to their changing needs."

Meanwhile, Tim Hortons is also expanding into China.

The coffee chain has signed an exclusive master franchise joint venture agreement with Cartesian Capital Group to develop more than 1,500 Timmy's over the next 10 years.

This is the same company that paired up with Tim Hortons parent company Restaurant Brands International and the Kurdoglu family to bring Burger King restaurants to China.
