Toronto hospital launching project to end stigma around suicide
Toronto's St. Michael's Hospital is launching a new project aimed at reducing the stigma surrounding suicide.
It is dubbed the Storybook Project and is hoping to bring comfort to people touched by the suicide of a loved one or those who have contemplated or attempted to end their lives.
It will be a compilation of stories from those who have experienced a loss through suicide or may see the act as the only way to escape a life filled with physical or emotional pain.
