Toronto's mayor wants city to co host FIFA World Cup

Toronto's Mayor throwing his support behind staff recommendation the city enter the bidding process to co host the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Canada joined the hunt for a shared bid for the games in December.

Under the proposal, Canada and Mexico would host 10 games and the U-S the other 60.

Tory says co-hosting World Cup play would be a once in a generation opportunity to showcase the city to the world.
