Tree Seedling sale kicks off in Niagara Falls
The Niagara Falls Park in the City Committee is launching its annual Tree Seedling Sale.
Local residents, businesses and schools are encouraged to take part and plant native trees to help restore the health of our urban environment.
As part of the promotion, the Committee will be selling native seedlings for $5.00 each on Saturday April 29, 2017 at the MacBain Community Centre.
The sale will start at 9:00am and go until 12:00pm or when seedlings run out.
The seedlings for sale this year, include the Eastern Hemlock, Tamarack, White Oak and Bur Oak.
Tree seedlings are sold on a first come – first serve basis.
Residents can pre-order seedlings with pre-payment (cash, cheque, debit, money order) at the MacBain Community Centre and Gale Centre starting April 3, 2017 and running to April 26, 2017.
A maximum of 25 seedlings can be pre-ordered and a minimum of 5 seedlings is needed to pre-order.
