Trucking company at centre of Humboldt tragedy grounded
A trucking company in Calgary that owned the transport involved in Friday night's fatal collision with a bus carrying the Humboldt Broncos, has been ordered to keep its vehicles off the road.
Alberta Transportation says the Adesh Deol Trucking company started operating last fall and has a clean slate, with no other crashes or violations.
Yesterday, the owner of the company said the 30 year old driver involved in the crash has children and is so devastated he is unable to eat.
The owner also admitting the driver had only worked for the company for a few weeks after receiving 15 weeks of training.
He would not say if this was the driver's first job operating a big rig.
