Trudeau says there will be no delay in the roll out of legal pot
Canadians looking forward to enjoying legal marijuana don't have to worry about a change in the government's timetable for legalization, despite calls by police and some provinces to postpone the roll out.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told reporters today his government will move ahead with the plan to legalize pot by July 1st, 2018 -- but also continue to work with law enforcement.
Trudeau -- speaking after a cabinet retreat in St. John's -- pointed out that the aim of legalization is to make it harder for kids to get access and to push organized crime out.
