Two cruisers damaged in high speed chase in Burlington
Police are searching for three men involved in a high speed chase in Burlington.
It started around 11:45 last night when police tried to stop a Chevrolet pickup truck at Walkers Line and Mainway.
The pursuit continued onto the QEW but was called off by police after speeds reached 140 km/h.
Two police cruisers were damaged and one officer received minor injuries after the two vehicles collided during the chase.
The truck was later found on fire in a Burlington neighbourhood.
Police believe the three suspects then stole a blue 2002 GMC Savannah van with the license plate AVZC 492.
The suspects were last seen travelling westbound on Hwy. 403 in Hamilton.
