U.S. moves against Canadian steel and aluminum
Starting at midnight tonight, the U.S. will impose import duties of 25 percent on steel imports from Canada and 10 percent on aluminum.
Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross says tariffs will aslo be slapped on Mexican and EU exports as well.
Ross admitting the tariffs are, in part, a direct response to the lack of progress negotiating a new North American Trade Agreement.
Ottawa has vowed to retaliate.
