Up to four suspects sought in St. Catharines home invasion
Niagara Regional police are searching for three to four men armed with long guns wanted in connection with a home invasion in St. Catharines.
Police say the suspects forced their way inside a home in the Scott Street and Bunting Road area around 9:30 last night.
A lone victim was inside at the time, and managed to flee the home unnoticed.
The armed men fled before police arrived and an extensive search by officers failed to locate them.
Police say descriptions of the group are limited, but all are said to be black males, 6 feet tall or taller.
Investigators have reason to believe this was not a random act.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Jeff Dam at 905-688-4111 ext. 9453.
