UPDATE | Charges laid after crash inside construction zone in Thorold on 406
A three-car collision in a construction zone made for a frustrating drive into work for some in Thorold.
OPP say the collision was reported at 8:20 a.m. on the 406 north bound heading through Thorold near Beaverdams Road.
Police say the crash happened inside the construction zone, which already has the 406 down to one lane.
OPP had to briefly close the highway to clear the crash.
One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A driver has been charged with careless driving for following too close.
The lane has since re-opened.
