UPDATE: GoFundMe campaign set up for stepson of a man wanted for attempted murder


As police continue the search for Justin Kuijer  - wanted for attempted murder - a GoFundMe campaign has been set up for the seven-year-old boy who died after being rushed to hospital on Friday.

Police were called to a Queenston Street home around 10:15 a.m. where they found Nathan Dumas with critical injuries.

While the exact cause of death isn't being released, police say Nathan was the stepson of Kuijer.

Friends of Dumas have launched a Go Fund Me campaign to help pay for Nathan’s funeral.

Kuijer, 43, is wanted in connection with a violent bank assault at the RBC bank on Martindale Road in St. Catharines around 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say it was not a robbery or a domestic violence matter.

The manhunt continues for Kuijer, who is considered armed and dangerous.

He is driving a grey 2009 Pontiac Montana.

Plate number is  B-Y-T-E-3-9-2..
