UPDATE | Man charged with aggravated assault after incident in St. Catharines
A man has been charged with aggravated assault after an incident in St. Catharines.
During regular patrol this morning around 12:08 a.m., a Niagara Regional Police officer came across a man in medical distress near Facer and Niagara Streets.
EMS arrived and took the man to the St. Catharines hospital where he was stabilized before being transported to an out of region hospital.
36 year old James Parks of St. Catharines has now been arrested and charged.
Detectives are still investigating and believe there are at least two more people involved.
