UPDATE: Weather advisory for Niagara
A Special Weather Statement has ended for Niagara, but a Weather Advisory is now in effect.
Geoff Coulson with Environment Canada telling CKTB that snow will start overnight with about 2 centimetres falling before Tuesday morning.
Snow will continue to fall (another 5 centimetres) before temperatures warm up and snow changes to rain in the afternoon.
Coulson thinks the transition from snow to rain will happen at around 5pm.
He is warning residents that the snow may make for a slower and slippery drive tomorrow morning and throughout the day.
On Tuesday night, strong winds of up 60-80 kilometres an hour are predicted. Rain will end around midnight.
