UPDATE: Welland woman faces more charges in fraud investigation
Police say a 25-year-old Welland woman has been rearrested and is now facing 69 counts of identity theft.
Police alleged that the offences involved the capturing of dates of births and personal information from social media "friends."
They say that information was used for fraudulent financial gains.
Kiona Campbell will appear for a bail hearing today.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives believe there are more victims.
