UPDATE: Wind warning has ENDED
A wind warning has been lifted for Niagara.
Environment Canada's Geoff Coulson tells CKTB we saw high winds ranging between 90-100 km/hr though the afternoon
Coulson says the strongest wind gust that was recorded today was in Hamilton at 1pm at 115 km/hr.
Coulson says there are problems reported all across Niagara and Hamilton including power failures, fallen trees, roof damage, and of course the QEW/Burlington Skyway Bridge closure.
Coulson says these winds will bring in cooler air in a few days.
