WATCH | Flames Flare up at Toronto fire
Toronto fire crews are once again battling flames at York Memorial Collegiate Institute.
A fire broke out at the school Monday afternoon in an auditorium area.
It was quickly brought under control but crews remained on scene overnight to watch for hot spots.
The flames flared up again early Tuesday morning and could be seen coming from the roof of the building.
However, Fire Chief Matthew Pegg says, "all indications are that the fire we are now dealing with is separate and distinct from the fire that we dealt with yesterday."
He says Toronto Police, Toronto Fire Services and the Office of the Fire Marshal are still investigating the first fire.
The Toronto District School Board has told students to go to George Harvey Collegiate Institute this morning, located just south on Keele Street.
