Weekend RIDE leads to impaired driving arrest
Over 400 drivers were stopped in St. Catharines and Niagara Falls during last night's RIDE check.
Police completed 12 roadside tests during the check, resulting in one impaired driving arrest.
They also issued a 3 day suspension and seized another driver's vehicle for 7 days as they were already suspended for having too many demerit points.
In addition to the alcohol related charges and suspensions, officers issued a total of 15 tickets for various offences, 7 of them for seatbelt violations.
