Welland Go Green on Bridge 13
The Welland Downtown Business Improvement Area is hoping community members step up to help with their inaugural summer party.
The organization has put out a plea on Facebook as they plan to shut down the Main Street Bridge and lay down sod for an event called, 'Go Green on Bridge 13.'
Although a local company has stepped up to donate the sod, the organization is looking for sponsors to help cover the cost of equipment and road closures for the event.
In all, the event is expected to cost between $15,000 and $25,000.
