Welland woman facing fraud charges

A 37 year old woman is facing fraud charges after allegedly defrauding a local agriculture group.

The NRP's Fraud unit was called in by the Niagara South Federation of Agriculture who reported they had discovered some financial irregularities.

Investigators discovered, over a two year period, the Federation was defrauded of more than $65,000.

37 year old Amy Clattenberg of Welland is facing charges including fraud over $5,000 and falsification of books or documents.

 Detectives are continuing to investigate and have concerns that there may be other victims.
