Wind warnings in effect across the Golden Horseshoe

A wind warning is in effect for Niagara, Hamilton and the Toronto regions.
Environment Cnada says a sharp arctic cold front will blast east across the region this morning and strong southwest winds are expected to develop suddenly this morning with gusts as high as 100 km/h, especially near Lake Erie.
Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says driving will be tricky today especially over the Garden City and Burlington Skyway.
The weather office also warns power outages are possible along with damage to buildings.
If you have any loose objects in your yard, tie them down or bring them in.
