World cup action resumes today

If you've been suffering from World Cup withdrawal, the quarter finals of soccer's top prize are back this morning. 

After two days off,  the two highest-ranked teams left in the World Cup following Germany's early exit meet today in the quarter-finals.

Second-ranked Brazil takes on number-three Belgium.

The winner will play either France or Uruguay in the semis.

Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez is not saying whether striker Edinson Cavani has recovered from a left calf injury to play against France in today's other match.

Uruguay and France have the early game at 10 a.m. 

Belgium and Brazil face off at 2:00 p.m.  

Tomorrow England faces Sweden in the morning game, host Russia meets Croatia in the afternoon game.
