BREAKING: Vehicle Ramming Threat Made In Toronto
There is an increased police presence throughout the city of Toronto, particularly downtown.
According to NEWSTALK 1010, it has obtained an internal police document that suggests the potential threat to public safety, which prompted an increased police presence downtown, involved a potential vehicle ramming attack.
Earlier today, police said they were increasing the number of officers throughout the city in response to an "unconfirmed, uncorroborated piece of information" relating to the Greater Toronto Area.
Spokeswoman Const. Caroline de Kloet says the force is "erring on the side of caution."
