The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario has suspended a Peterborough doctor's member's certificate.
Dr. Naseer Syed, who runs the walk-in clinic at Lansdowne Place mall, will not be able to practise medicine for 2 months, starting April 15th.
Once the suspension is lifted, Syed will be under clinical supervision for 9 months.
At a hearing yesterday in Toronto, Syed admitted to professional misconduct that stemmed from multiple complaints from 2014 to 2016. The college did not pursue accusations that he is incompetent.
Syed formerly practised at the Bobcaygeon Medical Centre before moving to Peterborough.
