Donation to the Ross

The Lindsay Legion has made a significant donation to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundaton to help with the purchase of a 3D mammography unit.

A twenty thousand dollar cheque was presented to the foundation yesterday.

The funds were raised through the legion's poppy campaign, making the Legion's total donation to patient care at the hospital, at 154 thousand, 600 dollars.

The purchase of the new mammography unit is part of a Diagnostic Imaging
redevelopment project beginning at Ross Memorial Hospital this month.

Enhancements include the replacement of X-ray equipment and renovations to several
rooms.
