Freezing rain expected Saturday night
Winter still has some fight left before spring arrives.
The possibility of freezing rain tonight has brought on yet another warning by Environment Canada for the City of Kawartha Lakes and the region.
Environment Canada says freezing rain will begin late this evening or after midnight, which will then change to rain by early Sunday morning as temperatures rise above the freezing mark.
In addition, wind gusting to 70 or 80 km/h will develop on Sunday and continue for much of the day.
The freezing rain is associated with a Colorado Low that will track through Northeastern Ontario on Sunday.
